Foo Fighters banda 1995. urtean jaio zen eta Dave Grohlek sortu zuen, nirvanaren bateria izan zena.
2007an bere azkeneko diskoa atera zuten eta 2008an horren DvD-a. Nirvanaren bateria izan zena, denboraldi luze bat egongo zirela diskoren bat atera gabe esan zuen, hemendik urte batzuetara aire ezberdinekin etortzeko.
